Scholarships

The 2026 scholarship application window is now open. Non-traditional and at-large applications will be accepted until April 23, 2026.

Scholarships are funded through unclaimed capital credits and distributed via the Federated Youth Foundation (FYF).

Scholarships will be available at each of the following schools:

-Butternut

-Chequamegon

-Phillips

-Prentice

-Rib Lake

Applications will be made available at and submitted to each school.

Scholarships will be available to at-large or non-traditional applicants.

To be considered at-large:

-Student is a high school senior

-Student does not attend a local high school

-Students' parent/guardian is an active PEC member

Applications should be submitted directly to PEC.

Scholarships will be available to non-traditional or at-large applicants. Applicant must be 25 or older, and one of the following:

-Did not continue or complete college after high school.

-Attends college part-time.

-Currently works full-time.

-Has children or dependents other than a spouse.

Applications should be submitted directly to PEC.

Applicant's parent/legal guardian must be an active member of PEC.
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior.
Applicant must have a 4 year cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Applicant must plan to continue in post-secondary education.
Applicant must be accepted into the school in which the scholarship would apply.
Family income is not a deciding factor in scholarship awards.
Scholarship must be redeemed within two years of being awarded.

Applicant must be an active member of PEC and a reside in the Cooperative's service territory.
Applicant must be in good standing with Price Electric.
Applicant must have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or higher during their current semester of post-secondary education.
The recipient must be enrolled in a course of study leading to an associate's or bachelor's degree.
The recipient must be enrolled with a minimum of 5 credits.
The program must be for a minimum of one school year.
PEC employees, dependents of employees, and directors are not eligible.
The non-traditional scholarship is a one-time award. The recipient will not be eligible for future awards.
Scholarship must be redeemed within two years of being awarded.
